Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 5th and glad to know that Mr. Royce approves of the general plan of the Indicator.

We hope to be able to run over to Derby on Wednesday or Thursday next if then convenient to inspect one of your engines at work, after which a drawing of general arrangement of indicator rig will be sent forward to you.

Since you were here we have not been able to do any further testing work owing to engine defect so that no further light spring trials have been made.

Kindly say which would be the most convenient day to visit you next week and best way to reach your works.

A formal quotation is enclosed as desired.

Awaiting your reply,

Yours faithfully,

G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Cussons, Ltd.,
