3½ LITRE JAGUAR.

This car was tested at Brooklands on Monday and the following lap speeds were taken, together with comparative tests on a 4¼ litre Bentley, these were as follows :-

Jaguar maximum RPM reached 4,300 i.e. 93 mph. on speedo. 86.85 corrected speed.

6.B.IV maximum RPM reached 4,250 in direct i.e. 92 mph. speedo. 87.4 corrected.

6.B.IV maximum RPM reached in overdrive 3,650 i.e. 94 mph. speedo. 89.3 corrected.
