X832 Na{Mr Nadin}/S11/LG191113. 19.11.13. We shall be glad if you will kindly let us have your opinion as to the advisability of lubricating the front spring leaves. In Mr.Royce's memo R8/B7.4.13 is stated - "My recommendation is to cancel shock absorbers at any rate at back of car until we find that they are really beneficial. For a long time I have not seen the logic of greasing springs and fitting shock absorbers". In the present Instruction Book we show shock absorbers fitted to the front springs, and also describe and illustrate method of lubricating the leaves. We wish to write Mr.Royce on the matter, but before doing so shall be glad if you will let us have your opinion on this. Na.{Mr Nadin} [Signature] Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} I think we should continue to fit shock dampers to front and grease the front spring. Mr Royce should be written for his opinion. 24/11/13 [Signature] This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
