Re Nevinson - chassis 1369.

I send you herewith a copy of Mr. Hallam's report re steering wobbles, as I thought this would be interesting to you.

You will remember that Mr. Harkness, our Chief Tester in the Repair Dept. is of the same opinion as Mr. Hallam, that the steering wobble has not been entirely cured yet, and is a matter which still wants further attention.

I am aware that Mr Hallam & Mr Harkness are opposed to the idea that low speed wobbles can be cured by correcting the inclination of the pivots, all other things being O.K. I should be glad if you would arrange for them to let me have any car which they cannot cure as I have not yet been able to find obtain a car which I could not cure. If the scheme does not cure the defect we ought to investigate it at once. The statements of the repair dept seem rather inconsistent as when the standing order was issued they immediately said they had been curing wobbles that way for some time.
