X1588 To W.O.R. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG27. 2. 26. DUCKHAMS ADCOL OIL: X967 X1588 We believe we are right in saying that Duckhams Adcol oil is a straight mineral. Mr. Royce has always preferred a compound oil. Prices oil, which we recommend for our cars, contains approximately 10% fixed oil. Our experience has shewn that we get very excellent results with a compound oil and we see no reason why we should depart from this specification. Another point we have to consider about any oil we recommend is whether it is widely distributed. R-R cars run in all parts of the world and in a large number of cases the oil we recommend is not obtainable. If at any time we recommend an alternative to Prices, we should prefer an oil which was obtainable in foreign countries. In cases when customers have asked whether Duckhams oil can be used on R-R cars, we have never raised any objection. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
