in the meanwhile to take its place. We could then go most thoroughly into the matter with Messrs. Dunlops and try the tyres with which the car is fitted, plain tyres, tyres of other makes, patterns of tread etc. etc., and thereby without doubt obtain some very valuable information on this matter. I suggest that this particular car be employed for this, because it is the most perfect example of this particular trouble I have ever met and the noises and effects are so great that there is no possibility of even an unsensitive person not being fully aware of them.
