2nd May 1940.

Messrs. John Marstons Ltd.,
Wolverhampton.

Dear Sirs,

FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. WARING.
--------------------------------

Further to our recent telephone call and visit, we confirm that we asked you to proceed with a Ripple radiator matrix to drawings PD.397/9/400 made up as a Mark III block, and we are sending you an official order to cover this job. We also confirm having requested Mr. Wren to make up a Mark III heater matrix with inlet and outlet pipes moved to the top and bottom of the tanks, and with a tube .5" bore passing through the centre of the block.

Summarising the items which you have in hand for us at present, these appear to be as follows:-

RADIATORS.

1. Chromium plated Ripple shell.

2. A set of shutters in lighter gauge material.

3. Conversion of Ripple matrix to Mark III.

HEATERS.

1. Two mark VI heater blocks with tubes through the centre.

2. One Mark III heater block only (no casing) with modified position of inlet and outlet pipes and tube through the centre.
