x 2238 Magneto Speed Indicator
Two generators for the above use, are in the experimental dept, each fitted with resistance bobbins.
The first machine is fitted, apparently in error, with an iron bearing plate across the polepieces. Its resistance is divided into two concentrically wound parts, connected in series. The outer coil is single layer and adjustable by a sliding contact. The values of these resistances are - inner, 200.0 w, outer 64.2 w, max total 264.2 w.
The second machine has a single bobbin non-adjustable resistance of 537 w resistance.
