X1166 E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/MN.3.3.36. To Mr. Copy to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bowring. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Phantom III D.W.S. Jacks with Hand Pump. We regret that we were unable to send you the prints you asked for immediately as we have only in our cabinets a percentage of them. We are therefore asking the Production D.O. to supply you with a complete set as follows:- LeC 4820. Lockheed pipe along spring drawn offside for engine pump. Fitted near side for hand pump. This drawing therefore needs handing. LeC 4860. Only applicable to engine pump as drawn. Is applicable to hand pump all forward of a line joining the front engine feet if handed. LeC 5001. (Sheets one to four inclusive), show the piping for the hand pump scheme and are correct. LeC 5008. Shows the production hand pump mounting. LeC 4881. Shows the pipes on the axle drawn for the engine pump. The scheme is applicable to the hand pump if the jack pipes only are handed. These schemes form the complete information concerning the jack piping and pump. We presume you are not in need of the scheme showing the jack fixings of the jack tank on the dash. The scheme LeC 4998 showed the mounting of the first sample D.W.S. hand pump supplied by the makers, and is applicable to no other pump, therefore we are not sending you this. With reference to the print of the scheme showing the filters on the second cross member, we have asked the Production D.O. to supply you with a print of LeC 4721. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
