600a To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.4/MH.{M. Huckerby}7.1.38. 26.G.VI CAR HEATER. We note that you are objecting to fitting the car heater instructed for 26.G.VI on the grounds that its voltage is 6 and not 12. Presumably this objection might have been raised before, in view of the fact that the heater and instructions have been in your hands for a matter of months, In any case this heater is to be fitted to 26.G.VI by the use of appropriate resistances in the feed lines to the defroster and the heater itself (these lines should be separate and both switch controlled and fuse protected). Will you please rig up the best experimental arrangement that you can. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC{R. Childs} will supply appropriate resistances. We recognize that the arrangement is purely experimental and that its reliability is not therefore assured. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
