PLEASE REFER TO GEN:SALES DEPT. AND QUOTE REFERENCE CAB/DS. IN YOUR REPLY 19th November, 1936. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. Your Ref.Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.23/AP. Gentlemen, We thank you for your letter of the 18th November as above, addressed for Major Carington's attention, and we are disturbed to hear of the adverse report from Paris concerning the 850 plug. Unfortunately there are not even component parts available of the long-obsolete 765.A plug, but in obedience to your urgent request we are reviving production and will forward 120 or a smaller number at the earliest possible moment. As we have never supplied your Paris house direct, and as Mr. Slater will undoubtedly have procured the 850's via Derby, would mind letting us have your own order for 120 plugs type 765-A, and add to it forwarding instructions. We thank you in advance. Yours faithfully, p.p. K.L.G. SPARKING PLUGS LIMITED. [Signature] Assistant Sales Manager. | ||
