re 20/25 and SpectreCodename for Phantom III Carburetters.

It was agreed at the conference in Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s office on Monday afternoon that we should not proceed to detail and make the modified 20/25 carburetter Lec. 4318 with the throttle opening the reverse way as the small amount of improvement over the balance pipe scheme - Lec. 4292 does not justify the amount of work involved.

The modifications however introduced into this improved carburetter will be incorporated in the SpectreCodename for Phantom III.

With regard to the SpectreCodename for Phantom III slow running adjustment, this memo confirms that an alternative scheme is in preparation for fitting each carburetter with its own spring and stop, and a system of controls which will pick up all four carburetters simultaneously, and fitted with adjustments so that when any individual carburetter is adjusted for slow running the control pick-up can be adjusted at the same time.
