BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X. 7520 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M16.1.29. 'SS{S. Smith}' REAR SHOCK DAMPER. We suggested a day or two ago that the trouble with the piston should be overcome by thickening the end wall 50%. We have since had the broken pieces sent to us, and on further examination it appears that it would be desirable to stiffen the end wall by increased radii into the piston barrel. We have made N.Sch. 2800 herewith shewing what we suggest. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
