1135 29th July, 1941. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB.1/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Messrs. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Brummer & Co., Ltd., 207, Kirkstall Road, L E E D S. 4. Dear Sirs, We have two belt applications for fan drives on vehicles. The peak H.P. is approximately 15 and the belts would have to work in a dust laden atmosphere. In the first application, the ambient temperature would be 120-130° F.{Mr Friese}, and in the second, 200-220° F.{Mr Friese} We would like your recommendations for these drives. A life of 150 hours when running continuously under peak load conditions would be sufficient. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, | ||
