X100 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}13/HP.19.5.33. re Peregrine Floating Power. We send you herewith: LeC.3469 showing the complete suspension of the engine. This scheme is an experimental rig-up, and would need considerable modification to make it suitable for production cars. We have everywhere tried to use simple pieces which can be made up, to get the experiment in hand. LeC.3473 deals with the necessary modifications to the fan and drive. In regard to the tail holding, on the gearbox, this is unaltered. We anticipate that the exhaust system will have to be very flexibly suspended, and we think the suspension of the expansion boxes should be similar in design to the Bensport arrangements - LeC.3463, 3465 and 3472. The front exhaust downtake pipe at the moment we are not issuing a drawing as we think we can better instruct this verbally at the completion of the work. Blueprints to RHC.{R. H.
