V5660 EFC/T26.5.27. CHASSIS DYNAMO. X.294. X.5661. X.5660. Dynamo sentinels of 87°C and 97°C both melted on a 10,000 mile test of 10-G3 in France. In view of the fact that the commutator solder had not melted, it would appear that the maximum temperature attained by the machine was in the neighbourhood of 100°C (by sentinel) i.e. 87° by thermometer.
