RE "GOSHAWK II" AND "SWALLOW" DESIGNS.

We are expecting Mr. Hives here on Monday to further discuss the Goshawk and other experimental work. We are handing to him drawings for the following.

X.3591.
X.4384. (5) Arrangement of starter motor in lower position permitting the aforementioned magneto location - already sent-LeC.1475.

X.3579. (-) Autovac tank for 3/4 gallon for Goshawk.

X.4390. (6) Arrangement of 40/50 HP. showing carburetter on the valve side and magneto moved to the pump side the object being to get a hot spot induction pipe with present cylinder castings. This drawing als shews modification to water pipes to prevent cracking of soldered joints, causing leakage through expansion and deflection of crankchamber. LeC.1480.
