ACCIDENT TO F.{Mr Friese} WEST (2365) ON 21ST.OCT.
(about 10 a.m.)

This man was severely scorched by a flame from the exhaust during carburetter adjustments to the Falcon X. engine on No.4 Test Bed.

The accident was wholly unavoidable and such as is likely to occur during preliminary adjustments to the carburetters when starting up.
