X. 918 Referring to the very interesting R1/M15.1.31., it does not occur to you that probably you might short circuit a very great deal of research and experimental work by getting to know from one of the well-known makers of X-ray coils, their very latest practice in respect of departmentalising coils and insulating them. Surely, people who have to keep within bounds a voltage corresponding to a safety gap of 10" or 15" have not got much to learn in this respect. I, personally, used such coils for many years in all sorts of temperatures and climates and they were not protected by Bakelite as our coils nowadays are.
