SINGLE CYLINDER WORK AND GENERAL RESEARCH - CONTINUED:-

5" x 5 1/2" Single Cylinder sleeve valve engine:-
Cyl. block and junk head.                In hand.
Top half c/case.                    In hand.
Crankcase end cover.                In hand.
Sleeve.                        In hand.
Piston.                        In hand.

Investigation into possibilities of two inlet and one
exhaust valve on 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" engine.            Completed.


KESTREL ENGINE.

Redesigned automatic Mixture Control - 1.B. engine.        Completed.

Variable pitch air screw hub.                In hand.

Redesigned automatic mixture control. (Kestrel VI).        In hand.

Ramp type cylinder head.                Completed.

Separated scavenger pumps.                Completed.

Cylinder skirt to suit ramp head.            Completed.

Water inlet connections - ramp type head.            Completed.

Modification to ramp type cylinder.            Completed.

Modified exhaust ports. (Kestrel VI).            Completed.

Modification to reduction gear, rear top bearing nut.        Completed.
