Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 27th inst. and have pleasure in quoting you for two transformers to the undermentioned specification. For use on 200 volt, 42 period A.C. mains, single phase, to give an output of 1 K.V.A. at the pressure of 20,000 volts. Oil cooled. Price without oil (inclusive of packing cases) to your works carriage Paid, the sum of, Forty Pounds Each. £ 40. 0. 0. each. Quantity of oil required, 15 gallons at Seven Shillings per gallon. 7/- per gallon. We can despatch these transformers to you within 8 to 10 weeks, but under that time if normal industrial conditions prevail. We note that you require a Variable Secondary pressure and shall be pleased to supply the above with tappings for 5,000 , 10,000, & 15,000 volts at an extra cost of 15/- per tapping.
