Trot Salt - Carburation}5/AP.21.5.37 BENTLEY DEVELOPMENT We have on test the latest cylinder head and induction system (proposed new design for production). The inlet pipes to EB.3230/1 have curved branches to the inlet ports of the cylinder head. We suspect that these curved branches are causing loss of power, as our previous experience as shown. A test can be carried out to prove this point; if you will supply a mock-up induction pipe as follows. Standard induction pipe with the six inlet branches bored out to 1.600 dia. Six new flanges to be made, and welded to the inlet branches. These flanges to be the same as shown on EB.3230/1. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} | ||
