A standardisation sheet as above, dated 5.9.28, had arrived at the stage when the signatures of all concerned, including R.{Sir Henry Royce} but excluding RJ. had been obtained. Owing to the change proposed change of design to the long distribution board of the S.S. type, incorporating the green lamp switch unit, it was suggested that it was not worth while making this standardisation sheet applicable to the few remaining distribution boards which were produced. The sheet therefore was not sent to RJ. for signature, and was put in abeyance. Now that it has been decided to continue for the present with the short distribution board (without the green lamp unit) it is considered that this standardisation sheet should be made effective. Accordingly we now send you a copy for your signature. The modification has been well proved to be of a desirable nature. EFC. | ||
