86099. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/MA. 15th December, 1933. Messrs.Joseph Sankey & Sons Ltd., Bilston, STAFFS. For the attention of Mr.E.W.Richmond. Dear Sir, We have now carried out tests with the No.41 quality "Stalloy" stampings you sent to us (see your letter ref.179 EWR of the 14th ultimo). The iron losses however on this particular armature are so much increased as to make the use of this quality prohibitive. We would therefore very much like to try the lowest iron loss material you manufacture which we understand is "Extra" special Stalloy". Will you kindly let us have as soon as possible a further similar batch of stampings exactly similar to the last despatched i.e. to drg.D.54292, of the thinnest gauge "Extra Special Stalloy". Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
