CONTINUATION NO. 1.

W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq.

6th January 1938.

Might I explain that largely as a result of my recent conversation with you we have been exploring the possibilities of cheapening our design without, of course, impairing efficiency, and I am pleased to state that we have been able to effect savings. Furthermore, we have modified the design so that a new element can be fitted easily and quickly.

I would appreciate it exceedingly if you would very kindly let me have your reaction and if necessary I will arrange for Mr. Grose to visit you at your convenience.

Meanwhile, I have pleasure in enclosing herewith one of our filter booklets, also copy of a letter which Messrs. Scammell sent us as a result of their experience. The letters from General Filters Inc. which you kindly loaned us are returned herewith.

Sincerely yours,

[Signature: Charles Whatmough]
