Dear Sirs, Re Phantom III Clutch. We have to acknowledge receipt of your esteemed letter of the 7th instant requesting the supply of 12 sets of cushion segments to your drawing No.Ex.27309 and in accordance with our Part No.EX.2302, for which please accept our thanks. As stated per telephone this morning, we are arranging to effect prompt despatch of 36 cushion segments and it is hoped additional 36 will be in your hands on Monday or Tuesday of next week which we trust will be satisfactory. We would kindly ask you to arrange for confirmatory order to be forwarded to us, and would add that we are entering at figure of 6½d each. Previous cushion segments of this type, forwarded to you as follows:- 18 under cover of our Advoive Note 22890 dated 28.5.37. 6 " " " " " " 22997 " 4.6.37. we have entered without charge, but again a confirmatory order is required in order to keep our records in line.
