Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of March 3rd, and subsequent to our conversation of yesterday's date, we are putting in hand:- 3 discs - 10-1/2" x 8.4" x 3/16" in Ferodo M.Z. quality. We should point out that this material is new in clutch applications, but is one of our standard brake lining qualities and is, therefore, not experimental. It is our considered opinion that with an isolated steel centre plate this quality will prove sufficiently durable and will have no undesirable action on the steel plate. Yours truly, FERODO LIMITED.
