Bench test.
SUMMARY OF TEST.
The bearings failed on the standard rods, and the mild steel rods white-metal lined after 13 hrs. running under similar conditions.
These bearings look excellent after 22 hrs. running under similar conditions.
A set of rods with mild steel bushes has been fitted to 8-EX for 10,000 miles test.
