Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}4/KW22135. W.A.Gibson Martin,Esq., Whinmoor Court, Sandfield Park, West Derby, Liverpool, 12. 22nd January, 1935. Dear Sir, Mr.Buckley has handed to us your letter of 19th instant with its enclosure. Firstly, we greatly appreciate your nice remarks about the car, and secondly, we are extremely interested in what you say about headlights and dazzle, and have been giving a great deal of attention to this important question of late. We should therefore greatly appreciate being put in touch with the inventor to whom you refer, and if you would be so kind as to send his name and address to our representative at Derby - Mr.West - who is making these experiments and to whom we have sent the extract from the newspaper which you enclosed with your letter, we shall willingly investigate the merits of the device. We have asked Mr.West to let us have a report in due course when he has had an opportunity of seeing this scheme. Thank you very much indeed for bringing the matter to our notice. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. Sales Manager. | ||
