86011 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.12/JH. 9th July, 1936. N.F. Stockbridge Esq., The AC-Sphinx Sparking Plug Co.Ltd., Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Dear Mr. Stockbridge, In there a condition with the use of leaded fuels where misfiring occurs on motor car plugs? We had a case recently where a Bentley customer "pottering" about London, without doing any high speed "stuff", had bad misfiring after about 400 miles, after using leaded fuel. The plug in question was a mica plug and we wonder if you have any genuine evidence that a aramic plug would be better in this respect? Yours sincerely, | ||
