ACTUAL PRESENT POSITION OF GOSHAWK DYNAMOS.

Dynamo X from XXXI GI. The armature of this is in the shop for undercutting of the commutator. Standard brushes are to replace ECO brushes and the machine is to be placed on chassis to run with reversed polarity.

Dynamo R3 for 3-GII. This is in the shop, first for new driving end plate, and secondly for being placed on 3-GII, the experiment being the annealed copper commutator with standard No. of segments.

470 on 4-GII. No alteration, but we want to watch for completion of 10,000 miles. E.G.2 brushes

161 on 5-GII. No alteration.

Dynamo E on 6-GII. 10,000 miles are being nearly completed - we want to watch when this is done. E.G.

Dynamo M on 7-GII. Annealed copper commutator. Machine has to come off temporarily to have experiment of turning dynamo through 28° arranged upon it.

Dynamo D in lab., but has to go to shop for new driving end plate.

Dynamo F. {Mr Friese} standard. On 3-GII temporarily until R3 is ready.

Dynamo H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} No change.

288. Standard. Complete standard dynamo performance on this machine.

562. 604 and 625. now available for testing three items of special pole piece experiments.

J, K and L with modified EAC type brush gear being investigated by CAP.
