| J 224. To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.2/AP.12.3.37. We send you herewith two standard Bentley fans complete Will you please modify them as follows - (1) Remove the blade set from one fan and fit a 25/30 set of blades made as a single pressing ( as fitted to Wraith) in its place. The fan should then be forwarded to Sr. at the Paris Depot, for fitting to J.B.1V. car. (2) Remove the blade set from the second fan and replace it by the five bladed Cadillac duralumin blade set, using the adaptor to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}240 for this purpose. The complete fan should then be handed to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. for test. We should like to get the first fan out to France as soon as possible, so that we can standardise this pressed blade set on Bentley and 25/30 cars. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
