The deflection of the pedal shaft brackets were then taken and were found to be :- Clutch pedal bracket .0045" Brake pedal bracket .0015" Both brackets were deflected rearwards. -------- Fig.1V. The deflection of the connecting link pin was tested from the same point on the clutch pedal as the clutch pedal deflection (Fig.ll.) -------- The deflection of the operating shaft lever was then taken for each ½" of clutch pedal movement (Table lll.)
