The deflection of the pedal shaft brackets were then taken and were found to be :-
Clutch pedal bracket .0045"
Brake pedal bracket .0015"
Both brackets were deflected rearwards.

The deflection of the connecting link pin was tested from the same point on the clutch pedal as the clutch pedal deflection (Fig.ll.)

The deflection of the operating shaft lever was then taken for each ½" of clutch pedal movement (Table lll.)
