LOW TENSION IGNITION WIRING WRAITH. I personally have experienced a complete breakdown, and also another car would very quickly have become a breakdown due to the failure of the wiring running from the frame to the ballast resistance. Owing to the engine movement the wire breaks off at the terminal where it joins the ballast. When the ballast resistance is left off it will still be necessary to have a connection between the frame and the engine. When the distributors are changed over and Delco coils fitted on the first 25 cars it will be necessary to alter this wiring in any case. It is imperative that a design should be produced where failure is impossible. Will you please ensure that this matter receives attention. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
