Re: India 3.

Enclosed please find copy of memo written to Rv. yesterday, which will be self-explanatory.

Up to the time of writing no telephone message has gone through in response to either my telegram or memo, and I think that all the HW. telephones must have broken down!

I should be glad to have your views and recommen-dations on the question of desirability and necessity or otherwise of three India 3. experimental chassis.

If it is agreed that two will suffice, there is nothing more for us to worry about in regard to bodies, but if it is considered definite there must be three (and no further decision is required from R.{Sir Henry Royce} or BJ. on the subject) then we must deal with the question of the body for the third.
