Mr. Minchin has 'phoned me today asking whether all details of the new 40/50 HP. battery are now settled and whether he may go ahead manufacturing the battery. I referred to the question of terminals and he replied that he understands what we want. I assume Peto & Radford will write us regarding the terminals when they have settled the details with the Chloride Co. Our letter to the Chloride Co. was despatched last Friday, 1st inst. so there has hardly been time for them to correspond and settle the details with Peto & Radford. Can I do anything further to assist matters? Naturally both firms expect to receive an order from us before they proceed to make the moulds and special dies required for the production of these batteries and before an order can be issued (for "T" Series), I shall require instructions from Ey.
