WATFORD EXPERIMENTAL SPEEDOMETER FOR BENSPORTCodename for 3 1/2-litre Bentley CHASSIS. We are sending into the Stores a Watford Speedometer which Messrs.Norths have submitted for test. We require this speedometer modifying so that the revs per mile calibration of the instrument are 797 instead of the 755 which is the calibration of this instrument at present. We also require the scle to be 5% fast at 60 M.P.H., whereas it is now actually slow when driven at its correct revs per mile figure. We shall be glad if you will urge Messrs. Norths regarding the alteration of this instrument as we are anxious to have these Watford instruments tested as soon as possible so that we may advise Roy. {Mr H.
