25/30 HP. STEERING ROLLERS.

We have completed our tests on the 25/30 HP. steering rollers made by Hoffmanns, and are satisfied that these are now suitable for production. Rig tests have shown that these rollers are equal to Ransome & Marles' productions for load capacity and Hoffmanns now understand our requirements for preload and accuracy. Early supplies may include a small proportion outside the limits of preload but this is to be expected.

We have written to Hoffmanns to the effect that they may now go ahead.

All the 29 rollers so far received from Hoffmanns have been charged up to the experimental Dept. We have retained 7 of these and have handed the remainder to production. Will Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} please arrange that we are credited accordingly.
