Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr.Grylls.

We thank you for your communication of the 1st, reference as above, and for the enclosure of the drawings of the gudgeon pin and little end bush.

The writer left you with the impression that you would also send a copy of the existing piston drawing, in order to assist us with the general overall dimensions, so as to ensure strict interchangeability. We are, of course, proceeding with the casting drawings from the information the writer brought back, but we should be glad to have this piston drawing at your convenience.

It would further assist us if you would let us have the following:-

1) Copy of the material specification S/SLM No. 402, in which your gudgeon pin is made, as we should like to compare this with the material we use ourselves.

2) The limits of cylinder bore dimension to which you work, and which would represent
