YOUR REF.

Messrs Rolls Royce Limited,
DERBY.

FOR THE ATTENTION OF R.{Sir Henry Royce} MATTHEWS ESQ.

Dear Sirs,

Now that I have run my Bentley 10,000 miles I should like to fit our own Pistons.

I am writing you as I know you are rather particular in the ordinary way in one using anything but your own standard parts, but I feel sure, under the circumstances of our having an Aero Engine Contract from you, that you will have no objection to my fitting Specialloid Pistons in my own Bentley, and your guarantee still holding good on the car.

We ourselves will fit the Pistons here and I can assure you that everything will be carried out with efficiency.

Yours faithfully,

H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Bates
