-2- Flywheel. We should like provision to be made for an inertia ring on the shaft side of the flywheel as on the Vauxhall. Starter Motor. The starter motor should be higher than the present one if possible. Controls We agree with no hand ignition. We feel that the accelerator control must be a first class job and that therefore the hand throttle control should benefit by this and follow our usual practice. We should like to have a hand throttle control on the column. We agree that it should be possible to make a cable choke control provided this is kept straight to a knob on the instrument board. There will be no hand ignition control. A point that we wish to raise is that we cannot believe it is really necessary to have an elaborate universal drive for the dynamo. We recently had a discussion on this subject, and we think that we have got to get the Works to accept that they can do what everybody else does. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
