Y 340 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.4/JH.31.12.35. Ph.III Radiater Steam valve. We have had some success with the diaphragms to Lec.4800, assembly drawing E.87456 which you built up for us, the main reason being that the edges were peened over and not sweated. This however results in leakages taking place. We should like you to build up for us two diaphragms to Lec.4800 and (E.87456 assembly) with the edges rolled or spun over to give an air tight joint.
