the pivots we can only improve this by giving ample initial
lean, and reducing the front wheel braking as suggested in
the first part of this memo. You will remember that I have
tried my utmost to keep the front wheel braking down from the
first, and especially on this smaller car where the back
wheel braking is so much better than on the 40/50 HP., and we
can afford to do it. In some ways I think it would be an
advantage if the servo was made rather smaller in dia., but
I fear this would mean scrapping many parts. My idea however
is that it would be give greater clearance with the floor of the
car.

Slightly stiffer front springs, say another 12%
making 25% at least. We should have thought it would not
take long to send a pair of springs to the makers to have
the camber altered by softening and rehardening.
