-2- Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 5/R.14.2.39. Other points worth mentioning are:- (1) Left-handing all the rationalised chassis. (2) Re-design of the frame to give lower rear seats, to take advantage of the shortness of the B.60 engine, and to facilitate installation of such items as exhaust systems and batteries. On the development side we realise that we have a lot more machining operations than other people on the gear-box, shafts, gears and operating mechanism, crankshafts, etc. We have got to work continuously with production to eliminate maching operations.
