JAMES BOOTH & COMPANY (1915) LIMITED --------------------------------------- BERYLLIUM BRONZE ---------------- In a paper read on March 10th 1937, before the Annual General Meeting of the Institute of Metals, Dr. Gough and Mr. Sopwith (N.P.L.) made the statement that :- "The results show that the corrosion-fatigue resistance of the bronzes compares favourably with that of the stainless steels, the beryllium bronze in particular having the highest corrosion-fatigue resistance of any material so far investigated by the authors." This applies to beryllium bronze supplied by James Booth & Company (1915) Limited, with a nominal beryllium content of 2.5 per cent. N.B. "The Resistance of Special Bronzes to Fatigue and Corrosion-Fatigue" by Dr. Gough and Mr. Sopwith. JAMES BOOTH & COMPANY (1915) LIMITED. --------------------------------------- | ||
