Contd. -3- R1/G6.12.19. have greater affection for their cars if this steering were not embodied. The 2½" suggested in the length of the frame will never be noticed except to add to the appearance of the finished car. The following parts, tools, materials, and manu- facture can be proceeded with both for the model and for the bulk production:- Engine complete - except as below. Radiator. Bonnet. Dash. Instrument Board. Front axle complete. Steering Gear. Complete Controls on Steering Column. Pedals. Front and rear springs and other fittings. Clutch. Coupling. Complete back axle, except as below. Dynamo. Battery. Foot brake, side brake up to compensating shaft. Frame and side members with 2½" added to the parallel, up to drilling. Cross members up to drilling. Spherical Control and its fittings, with the exception of a slight modification in the length between the side tubes and the fourth cross member Shock Dampers. The following parts must be held up for drawings and model parts:- Flywheel. Upper half of Crankchamber - Slight modification to one arm to support starter shaft. Gear Box.
