My dear Hives,

I have had a talk to Bentley, and he welcomes the idea of seeing you again. If you come down on Friday, I expect he will be about, but it may be that we shall have to take "pot luck" as to what cars are available.

You will appreciate of course, that we shall be glad to have the opportunity of trying a real "Phantom", but I take it that this is the spirit in which you suggest the visit. I don't think we like back door methods, any more than you do.
