These are as good as the Marchal headlamps when dimmed and better for long distance when bright. They give a beam powerful enough to use maximum speed with every confidence. They possess a serious fault. On bad roads, the dipping reflectors, although not in use, flutter to the dipped position. We have yet to see dipping reflectors that do not flutter on bad roads. Lucas must know this and yet we are offered lamps with another known fault. ---------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M.
