| c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x319 BY.2/G.6.7.36. Steadman Note - HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/STD PHANTOM III - CYLINDER HEAD. Referring to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}2/T.4.7.36. this proposal has only been in our hands a day or so. We had completed a scheme, but a recommendation was put foward that instead of plugging the holes in the crankcase cylinder block section we should plug them in the head, this being a sound proposal, inasmuch as it eliminated the risk of scrapping expensive units, we immediately cancelled the scheme we were about to issue and put the new one in hand. This will be issued this morning. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
