Re J-3 BODIES.

On checking up the bodies at present in the Repair Dept. with the peregrine body file, we find that 6 Peregrine 2 four-door Saloon has been sent to Park Wards along with J-2.

When Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} checked over the bodies with the writer some time ago this 6-Per.II body was mistaken for a J-3 type. On looking up our records we find that only two J-3 bodies were built.

As this is the case we have only the one J-3 body to dispose of.

With regard to the peregrine body now at Park Wards, this is new and has never been mounted. We will arrange for our lorry to return this to Derby at some suitable date if this is agreeable to you.

Information has been received (by G/Cam. from Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}) that these two J-3 bodies have been allocated to GMD-43 and GVD-18 for mounting. Under the circumstances only one of these chassis will be used. Will you please notify Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} of this, so that arrangements can be made accordingly.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.Dodd.
